All roofing is constructed to the Australian Standard 1684

2 storey renovations

We are specialists in 2 storey renovations. We remove the existing roof cover, whether being tiles or roof sheets. Then remove the roof structure.
Once we are down to the ceiling frame we then construct the timber floor to the engineers requirements, this often means several steel beams to be install to support the weight. All steel beams will be installed by Banken Building, with or with out the assistance of a crane. If a onsite welder is required we will also organise one to come out on site.
Tongue and groove flooring is installed, along with 18mm compressed cement sheeting if a wet area is on the plan.
Stud framing installed and thermoseal wall breather fixed.
Roofing constructed and existing first floor roof tied into the extension and Exterior cladding installed.
We are able to assist you in booking trades to complete other works required

Single Storey Additions

We specialise in timber frame extensions to single storey homes. From construct of the footings to the floor frame, stud framing, external cladding and roofing. We have contacts with other trades and can provide you with a full service to get your job done if you are an owner builder.

Construction of timber frame and installation of hardwood or composite decking

Negative Detail

We specialise in negative detail lining to eaves, alfrescos and carports. We use at least a 6mm hardiflex or verislux sheet with a 10mm feature gap between the sheets
Negative detail is a great alternative to the 4.5mm hardiflex sheet with joint moulding.

Wall Cladding

We are experienced in installing a range of cladding options, from hardieplanking to the range of scyon products. We install these wall claddings to the specification given by the manufacture.
Blueboard is used as an external cladding system. All joins are rebated and sheets are screwed into place.
We often use blueboard on second story renovations where timber stud framing has been constructed, the blueboard is then textured and looks just like a rendered wall.
